STRATHMORE & THE GLENS FUNDING SURGERY

Strathmore & the Glens hosted their first funding surgery at Rowanbank Community Education Centre in Blairgowrie on Monday.  The afternoon session proved very popular and was well attended.   Unfortunately, the evening session was eventually cancelled due to lack of registered interest.  However, if any groups who did not attend would like further information or help with completing their funding applications, please contact  Penny Brodie (pbrodie@pkavs.org.uk)of Perth & Kinross Association of Voluntary Service, telephone 01738 562593, or call the local rate enquiry line on 0845 605 2000.  Alternatively if your group would be interested in attending the next surgery, please register your interest with  Sue Cole, Strathmore & the Glens Rural Partnership on 01828 640763.  Strathmore & the Glens would like to learn of any other areas of interest that would be of help to local organisations, for example drawing up constitutions or obtaining charitable status.

The main purpose of holding the surgery in Blairgowrie was so that local people had easy access to information, advice and support without having to travel to Perth.
