Connect
Connect is a Perth and Kinross initiative that stems from TCA. It is a service for young people aged 12 to 17 who feel their use of alcohol or drugs is causing problems in their lives. Referrals can come from the young person or another worker/family member/carer. The base is in Perth, however Resource Workers will see clients locally. The Connect project focuses on the relationship between offending behaviour, psychological factors and substance misuse. It offers a flexible and collaborative approach in tackling these issues, and SCYD is an off shoot of Connect's work, and it also supports the Davie Park Project.
