Membership Details

Strathmore and The Glens is a voluntary non-profit organisation, it is therefore dependant on the subscriptions and voluntary efforts on the part of its members, grant aid for any projects it undertakes, and sponsorship.

Memberships are annual, renewable from 1st April each year.

Apart from being able to contribute to the groups deliberations, it is also an opportunity to constructively contribute towards the significant improvements both economically and socially that are developing in Eastern Perthshire.  Being a member allows us to assist members access to grant funding sources.  Strathmore and The Glens is the delivery partner for the Area Based Initiative run by Perth and Kinross Council and is also the lead body in East Perthshire's bid for the Sirolli Project.

In addition to these every member is entitled to an entry in the Directories managed by the partnership.  These are an important and valuable way of ensuring your contact details are available at all times.

Currently memberships are in two classes;  Individual or Associate/Group/Business member.

Business members have up to three entries in the Strathmore Business Directory, while voluntary groups, clubs and societies have an entry in the Voluntary Directory.  Organisations that are run on a voluntary basis and are non-profit or non-income based are allocated to the Voluntary Directory.  All others are classed as Business.

Membership fees are:

Individual waged    £5

Individual unwaged    £2

Non-profit voluntary or community group    £10

Associate or Business    £20
